is that what your auto insurance or your group plan through work says? talk to the financial patient advocate people at the hospital where you're having your surgery. they should be able to tell you how to get both of your insurance companies involved and limit your out-of-pocket expenses. i think it depends in part on what sort of auto insurance coverage you have, but there should be some amount of coverage for medical expenses. i'm not sure how all this works, but that's what my mommy said. (she's the assistant director of reimbursement for the physicians group at a big hospital back east) i can get more info from her if you need me to.

thats work insurance. my auto doesnt cover it- i capped that out already.
